So many positive things I can say about Shirley but will try to sum it up for those ladies that are looking for a new stylist. I found Shirley through her website around Oct 2013. I was able to book an appt. with her and get in to see her before the holidays. Her consultation was one of the very best I have ever had. She took her time to listen to what I wanted and gave me her professional opinion on what would look best on me. I left with a beautiful color and hair cut and made my next appt. with her before I left. I have now had my 2nd appt. but this time I wanted a dramatic change in color and after my first experience with Shirley I trusted her. Well its dramatic. I now have red/violet and copper hair and ABSOLUTELY love it!!!!! She is an expert on color and knows exactly what makes her clients look stunning!!! Shirley is one of those "best kept secrets" in her field and we have her right here in the north country. Thank you Shirley and see you in April :)

Shirley has been my cosmetologist for nearly 20 years; I wouldn't go to anyone else. She is the best at what she does. She knows color like no one else; even her peers ask for her help on occasion. She is an excellent stylist and always keeps updated on the latest styles or trends by going to hair shows. One of Shirley's greatest assets is that she always consults her client to see what they want and always tells the client what she is doing, so there is no mis-communication. Shirley will give professional advice if asked, but what the client wants comes first. Shirley's main objective is to make the client happy and like what she has done. Shirley is always very accommodating. If I make an error when scheduling my next appointment, Shirley will do her best to fix it. And, she is nice and smart and fun to be around. She definitely gets a well deserved 5 star rating.

You know you've been going to your cosmotologist for many many years when you can't remember when it was you started! And, that's how great a stylist Shirley is. I've never left with a bad color or cut! She knows hair like no other. I wish she could do my hair every morning. I wouldn't keep going to her if she wasn't able to make my difficult hair look great. Hi. I have gone to Shirley for many years now. I have baby fine unmanageable hair. She has found a perm that works and knows how to cut and style my terrible hair. A few times the perms have not taken but she has fixed the problem. If anyone has hard to manage hair and needs an expert stylist, I highly recommend Shirley Aubin. Shirley was able to fix the horrendous dye job that I received from another salon. My hair was dry, brittle, falling out, it took a few months but she was able to restore my hair and give me the perfect color. People believe that my color is natural. I just laugh and give them Shirley's card.

Thanks to Shirley I no longer walk around with orange hair. In fact she figured out that it was my medication interacting with the permanent hair color, changing my hair to an orangey copper instead of the rich chestnut brown I wanted to achieve.
